Tiago Cabaço Alicante Bouchet This Alicante Bouschet is the tenth harvest of a set of single variety wines Tiago Cabaço’s signature. For us, the choice of Alicante Bouschet was natural and immediate, for this grape’s wide recognition and growth in the Alentejo and the great results we have had in the winemaking of selected plots. We only selected the plots where the grape expresses its full potential and the richness of our terroir. Tasting notes: Compact ruby colour, thin but also powerful tannins. Complex aroma with a rich mixture of ripe red fruit notes. Long and elegant finish. Winemaking: The harvest was performed manually, and grapes were carried into the winery in small boxes. The grapes, after de-stemming, were trodden by foot in modern stainless steel lagares with temperature control, followed by ageing in French oak barrels and long ageing in the bottle.
