While we usually have well-established plants ready, high demand may result in a short waiting period.Planting & Growing TipsInitial Care: Upon arrival, give your plant a good drink and place it in a partially shaded, sheltered spot. Allow it to recover from its journey for a few days before transplanting.Transplanting: Plant into the garden or a large container when roots begin to emerge from the drainage holes. Water thoroughly immediately after planting.Position: Prefers a sunny spot with well-drained soil for the most intense leaf color and vigorous growth. It will tolerate partial shade.Spacing for Ground Cover: Space plants approximately 45-60cm apart to allow them to spread and form a continuous cover.Feeding: For lush growth, feed occasionally with a balanced liquid fertiliser or compost tea during the active growing season.Harvesting Leaves: Regularly pinch or snip off the tips of vines to encourage bushier growth. Use the young, tender leaves and stems, ensuring they are cooked before consumption.Additional NotesSun Acclimatisation: Our plants are grown in partial shade.
